Eric, I'll say it again because it can't be said enough. I am but one proud veteran who thanks you for your service and sacrifice to this country. The trials that you and your family endure are clearly recognized by me on both ends. I have lived them growing up as a dependant and as an adult having served proudly.
It's not easy being without a Dad or being away from children and spouses.
There's a deep seated inner calling..one that few ever hear. When it is heard it screams to you loudly that you owe this country a debt of gratitude. You repay her by protecting her and all that she stands for at all costs and you do it in a uniform.
I wish you well and I wish you safety.
You have two faimilies Eric. Your immediate one and this one. Thank you for everything...

Stay safe, Eric. Thoughts and prayers from Delaware and when I get back to school in September, I will have my students pray for you, you family, and the others with you. Thanks for everything you do to protect all of us.

I was almost afraid to watch this, Eric. I thought it would get me crying like a big baby. But insterad of crying, I found myself laughing and smiling as I watched the pictures of your two "Knuckleheads". I hope when you watch them, you find yourself smiling and counting your blessings. To your children, you're Daddy. To your Wife, You are a Loving Husband, To Tsunami and Typhoon, you're Alpha. And to us, dear Eric, You are a Hero!!!
