It's Emmy's 7th Birthday!!

This time last year, we weren't sure we would see this day. After two GDV/torsion surgeries (first gastropexi failed) in 5 mo, endless testing procedures and biopsies, emergency vet runs, three separate episodes of aspiration pneumonia, laryngeal paralysis, muscle wasting and neuropathy, my toughie of a girl made it! Go Emmy!!!

I have learned so much from this girl...patience, unconditional love, and optimism...never, ever give up. Emmy is my fire and spirit..my traveling buddy...my first Newf. I'm so blessed to have her in my life these 7 yrs.
