He was a little better yesterday but didn't feel up to getting the truck back- it's still almost in Alabama. Have appt with doc this AM, will go for truck afterward- doc is about halfway. If he can't do the whole drive I'll get it out of the restaurant parking lot and leave with a doggy friend on that side of town.
I went along with him coming home because ER was not real pushy that he should stay, maybe because I had told the ER doc I didn't think he would. I was driving so there was no danger there. Stubborness can be both a virtue and a vice. Kept him alive I'm sure.
Well, no definitive answers- seems white count was up, red was down. Today temp is up for him 99.4 and pressure down 100/68. They are redoing the CBC to check for changes from Wed. either way. May have been precipitated by an episode of hypoglycemia or maybe a reaction between steroids prescribed last week and all the other medicine he takes. Had another hypo episode around 1 today but seems better now.
I sure hope they can get to the bottom of this soon, Emmie Lou. In the meantime, sending prayers and positive energy for your husband. Hope you have some definitive answers very soon, and he's on the road to recovery.
