Good thoughts needed

Many of you know DH has lots of medical problems. He's added some lung issues to the list and was supposed to have a chest X-ray yesterday because the pulmonologist is thinking obstruction of some sort. Went out to a meeting and about 2 hours later called me. Feeling too bad, couldn't drive. I went after him (45 miles). On the way home it looked like he was lapsing in and out of consciousness so I stopped at the ER of our hospital. They ran bunches of tests and said "blood work a little irregular and EKG a little funny". Wanted him to stay which he refused. Call into the Internist for follow-up today. Could use your good thoughts and prayers, he has so many problems.

Emmie Lou, I would not have allowed him to refuse to be admitted to your hospital. Too dangerous to be driving those long distances when something is off kilter healthwise, and to be lapsing in and out of consciousness! Heart problems or stroke can be devastating. I know men don't like to deal with health issues but better safe than sorry.

Not that anybody can make anybody else do what he does not want to do ...
