Thanks so much everyone! I am so proud of my big guy, although I never thought we'd get through the session. Finn is a major mama's boy--and opted to focus on me rather than the camera. Paw prints available anytime!

My son just received this book for his birthday. We were very excited to see that he belongs to someone on newf net. How did you ever get involved with Scholastic?

What a handsome guy, and his obvious sparkle makes him perfect for this title!! Love it!! Would love a pawtograph and would love to read it to my kids at school!! Yes, watch out for pawparazzi and ardent female fans!! Great ending to the day and thanks!!

Honestly, it was a bit of luck. I was involved in a dog therapy program in the CT area, and the coordinator of the program happened to be a stylist for animal talent in NYC. She was lining up dogs for the Scholastic series, and remembered I had a Landseer. I submitted photos, and he was chosen. I don't know if he'll ever get another opportunity, but it was a lot of fun (probably more for me than Finn).

We got this book a couple of months ago for my son through Scholastic. He was so excited to read it because of the landseer on the cover. He kept telling me it looked like our pup Luna. Now, I can let him know who the newf was on the cover. Great Job! He looks fantastic.

What a spectacular Newfie! Congrats! Went to amazon and read as many pages as they have up, engaging book. Will buy it.

That is wonderful! He is gorgeous. You must be soooo proud.

We just had our book fair for scholastic today and they did not have it :( We did get a St. Bernard book though.. Norm has us hooked.

My granddaughter just purchased this book from her school book fair, she loves books about dogs but when it has a newfie on the cover, she always calls to share the story with me and she never passes up a story about a newfie.

Awwwwwwww and he looks so innocent :).........Awesome picture and wow, on a book cover, he is famous now :)
