Doggie Landscape design

We bought our house about 4 months ago and now that its not a billion degrees outside we are starting to do some improvements...the dogs refuse to be left out of the process so I thought I'd share their hard work...

Here is their version of the winding path we would like...they cleared the grass for us, quite thoughtful

Apparently this Palm leaf was no longer part of the big design...

Florida snow (aka stuffed animal guts) thoughtfully arranged by Kuai Le accented by a destroyed purple flower pot :whistling::

This is Kuai Le's scale model of the moat she would like to install to protect the house...

If you have a newf landscaper please share your pics! ( so I won't feel so alone...:uglyhammer::banghead: )

Ha! Love the landscaping! I will have to take pics of my dog's yard but it doesnt look too bad right now all covered with snow (except for Rafe's two frozen potty piles!)

LoL, its nice to know we're not alone :) If I could only get them to pull up the saw palmetto...then I would hire them out! (For those not blessed w/the saw palmetto, there is one to the right of the moat...the only way to get rid of them is a professional grade chemical to kill them and nothing can grow in the soil there for a year or diesel fuel and nothing will grow there ever again)

Oh my - well you've seen my pics on our blog so you pretty much know we're in the same boat! If Kuai Le needs any help digging the full sized moat just call on your BPO friends with Pyrs!

Well, I know some of you won't believe this but other dogs can do more landscaping then that. My back yard, where Thunder doesn't go looks like something out of WWI. Lots of foxholes and tunnels running every which way. They did NOT however, call a Christmas night truce and sing carols.

I would like to see some fox hole pictures, please :) And maybe pictures of the culprits too!

I will let Kuai Le know you admire her work :)

Love the captions... thank goodness you can laugh!

My two have been totally gentle on my landscape so far. Well, OK, they joined in when me and the kids were digging "farms" under the fir tree.... but we were cheering them on. Then I told the kids that Winston was digging to china and we could help him out...

Our back yard wasn't really cared for before we bought the house, so there is 20 years worth of every invasive plant known in Florida growing back there...so, you know...having a free demolition team isn't so bad...if only I could direct them a bit more...maybe the winding path could be a little more path-like and no so road-like

What did you kids think about digging to China? I was a little fascinated by that idea as a kid, to be honest...

Great Landscaping. When Bär was a pup we had more holes in the backyard then grass.
Saved on cutting the grass.

Oh Don't worry! As soon as the rain stops here today I'll show you holes! OMG will I ever show you holes! That, and the carefully placed cache of sticks. I'm not sure what MissP is planning to do around here that she needs to stash all her sticks but we sure have a pile of sticks in her favorite spot.
Hey, maybe she's gonna build the extra garage we need?

Oh how I love that- a true work of art. Great picture, he looks so pleased with himself and so tired from all that fun.

Our yard looks awful. I've resigned myself to it, but Gary still wants to find a way to save it. I think a miracle would be required.
