Hi guys. I guess I should be thanking all of you for my snazzy new life vest. Mum and Dad think it will give me confidence to try to swim this summer. Sheesh, I'm not afraid of swimming! I just don't like to get my pretty fur wet! I've got to look good for the ladies you know?

Here is my new outfit... I look like a Life Guard! :D




The Tibetans thought I looked like a dork. Here's my brother Khabo trying to figure out what the heck I'm wearing.



And this is Khabo informing me that he just can't figure out how to get the contraption off of me. We really need thumbs, you know?



Stay tuned for what are sure to be some comical adventures as the Mama tries to get me IN the water! :crazy:

Such a handsome dog wearing a "uniform" will attract the ladies in nothing flat :)

For Snuffles it takes a special toy to get him to swim. We (my friend "Aunt Ellen" and her lab Taylor) dog sat at Apache. Beau, and Cole's Sunday before this past while Karen and Allen went to the Cub/Cardinal game in STL. I did not even put a vest on Snuffles because I figured one less dog to dry since he does not like to swim just to swim. I had also bought Apache for his May birthday a Kong Wet Wubba toy last year and this year. The one from last year was pretty chewed up. Snuffles loved it last year. Snuffles saw the new one when I was in the pool with the other dogs and tried to jump up and get it. He came up the ramp and got in the pool 2 times to get the toy and swam...without his vest on. I think he would swim all day to get that toy.

When did Cooper get so much bigger than Khabo?!!!

p.s. love Pari in the background with just her snooter out the screen looking incredulous and glad that she's not wearing it...

Oh my Cooper. I just love a Landseer lifeguard in uniform. I think you are very, very handsome. Perhaps I could swim out ahead of you and you could come and rescue me.

P.S. Gabe and Noah think the uniform looks cool too. It will probably make you a chick magnet on the beach.

Kona say to tell you that you will find that you can swim so much faster in that coat... you will be cruising right along.... :)

Wow! I never realized that Coop was that much bigger than Khabo! Where'd your little Landseer puppy go? I swear it wasn't that long ago that you had a pup...wow.

Hey...Coop, Myra here.....mom got me to look at you and my chest is thump thump and the drool in just begining to hang,,,,what's that Eddie Money song.....I think I'm in LOVE!

The size difference between Cooper and Khabo... I know!!! Khabo (at 115 pounds) used to be my big dog. He looks like a midget next to Cooper! LOL

Skye thinks you look quite dashing, Coopster. She's no fan of swimming either, but she does enjoy sitting in the water. She will, however grudgingly, swim as long as she has her lime green jacket on. (of course....we're waiting on her new one to arrive as her old one burned up in the damned shed fire!)

Cooper, that snazzy life vest will give you the confidence you need to get you swimming this summer! Heck, don't worry about a little wet fur, the ladies will think you're a hottie - wet OR dry!

Sooo cool - will get one for Danny Boy. Reminds me of when we made a hunting vest and cap for BenBear so he wouldn't be shot by hunters on our mountain. He looked like a giant pumpkin and just as handsome.
