Same as above. Switched to Orijen 6fish and nary an itch since... unless they happen to get a treat (NOT from us!) or something that is chicken based.Itching, icky ears (yeasty) and paw licking. I don't know if it's a true allergy, per se, but Gabe gets these symptoms when eating a chicken based food or a food with any chicken in it. We switched to fish and symptoms went away completely.
Same here, except Tug's ears still get itchy, but it's mostly due to swimming and fighting like a Tiger not to have his ears cleaned :smashy:Itching, icky ears (yeasty) and paw licking. I don't know if it's a true allergy, per se, but Gabe gets these symptoms when eating a chicken based food or a food with any chicken in it. We switched to fish and symptoms went away completely.
I wonder about all these allergies too. As to wether it is from the preservatives. Like Annabelle's wheat allergy, but she can eat home baked bread with no issue's. But any wheat in anything bought and she goes red.............HmmmmmmI've seen quite a few dogs that reacted to chicken based foods but were fine with actual chicken. I wonder if it's something used in the processing.
My dogs with chicken allergies also got HORRIBLY loose stools.Itching, icky ears (yeasty) and paw licking. I don't know if it's a true allergy, per se, but Gabe gets these symptoms when eating a chicken based food or a food with any chicken in it. We switched to fish and symptoms went away completely.
