Got him home about 3:30 this afternoon. He had his Cruciate surgery (TTA) last night at about 7:30. He's doing great...got up on his own and went to the door when he had to go potty. Bearing weight.but limping. The dr. said that should improve a lot in the next few days. Here are some pics of the munchkin :) :heart::heart: These are less than 24 hrs after surgery. I think he's looking pretty good!!

He looks great, Pam! You're fortunate to have found someone proficient in TTA - there surely don't seem to be many.

Ginny...I had trouble finding someone on Long island too. There was one specialist who does it...but I don't think she's been doing it long. This guy is supposedly the best. He teaches it to other vets and does 6 to 8 TTA's a week and only works 4 days. We had to drive in horrible traffic to get to Brooklyn...almost 2 hrs..but it was well worth it to know that he was in good hands.

He looks just fabulous! Dare I say, he even looks to be in fairly good spirits...or maybe he's just stoned :lol: Glad to hear things all sound positive and he's back at home with his mama!

GO BRUCE! and go YOU for doing your homework! He looks great:) A bag of frozen peas on the inside of Bojies leg, and a long ice pack on the outside so that his leg was an ice pack sandwich was a great help:) Give that boy a big kiss from me! He's always been adorable, and he looks even more adorable to me now that he's in the bionic knee club:heart:

It's funny but I always thought Bruce and Bojie look like they could be brothers. I know they're not but when I see one I always think of the other.

He look's great Pam!!! Glad you were happy with Dr. Prata. I hear ya about how long it takes to get there. That last stretch of Atlantic Avenue is a killer:) Each time I went, I grumbled about the traffic, but knew it was the best thing for Roger.

Glad to hear everything went smoothly and that he is home getting his TLC. He is one good looking manly hunka newf.
The girls send BUNCHES of get well kisses.
