And there were two! Introducing Mason!
We just returned home from a week and half vacation at our family's mountain house in North Carolina. We were having our daughter's portrait painted by an artist in the area, so we dropped Cimorene off at our breeder's home for her own vacation...visiting with her doggie family, swimming, romping, etc.
Well, we came home with an extra Newf!!!
Since we have been undecided for so long, our wonderful breeder offered to let us "try out" a second one. How can you pass that up?? Especially after seeing her having so much fun there, romping, swimming, etc, with the other dogs.
So, since this Sunday, we have Cimorene's brother, Mason. WOW, what a difference. Cimorene has SO MUCH energy and romps with Mason non-stop, with short rest periods in between. She's definitely the dominant dog, but he gives it right back too. Other than herding these beasts in and out of the house when they get started, I'm able to mostly relax and not be Cimorene's #1 playmate 24/7. :sunflower: In fact, when I do try to give her some loving, she's like, get out of the way mom! What is Mason doing?!
I'll post pictures as soon as I have some! Mason is super sweet btw. We really love him. Unless something drastic changes, he'll be staying. :sunflower:
