My sweet, loyal, always happy little baby crossed the bridge yesterday. He was a long haired chihuahua. Something attacked him when he was outside. The pain is unbearable!!

The shock..is understandable..and I would hope that, with the help of what others in your area may have seen..the 'how'..of this happening..are finally sorted out. Knowing what to 'protect against'..is needed now. As you hug your memories of Wraggles close..do know that it must have been swift..and was certainly not your fault. You and your family gave love, and nurture and Wraggles left heart-prints..on you all.
love and hugs, ina n HB

I'm having a really hard time copeing with this. Everyone's kind words are so valuable to me. I didn't know how much they would help but they really do. I have no idea what happened. He was found by someone down by the lake. He was out by himself. If the newfs had been with him he would have been protected. He wasn't too crazy about them but they too had a spot for him in their hearts. Times like this are when you learn how much your friends mean to you and how much you need them. I have learned that there are unbelievably good people living around me. Hero's really.

We live in a very rural area. Many people suspect it was a pack of roving pit bulls that have been spotted frequently. It's really scary to know that danger like that is so close by. Everyone who lives here has animals to worry about. When I'm stronger maybe I'll try to make some phone calls to see in anything can be done.
