What do you drive your pup(s) in?

I'm looking for a new or used vehicle that I can transport these two big boys in. When we lost our English Mastiff Max a couple of years ago, we were heartbroken and NEVER getting another dog. That lasted about 2 months! Meanwhile, I got rid of the old Pathfinder and bought a 4 door Mitsubishi Galant. That was fine for just Boaz in the back seat, but not for Boaz and Ty. Mike has a large pickup with covered bed, but that's not going to work for me.

Please, tell me what you drive, what you like about it, and why it works for these big guys!

Thanks for the help in advance! :)

Hi! We drive a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country! I love it...the seats all fold down with plenty of room for 1 big newf, 2 kids and all their "stuff!" Very comfy ride for all of us!

I have a Chevy Tahoe and can fit three adults and three dogs (well, one large dog and a couple of ankle biters) in it comfortable with lots of room leftover. So, we don't forsee any problems fitting the new Newf puppy in. :D

I don't have human kids. I don't require "bells and whistles" in my vehicle.

I drive a Honda Element, which allows Sammie plenty of room. I have removed one of the seats and have the other flipped to the inside of the car. So, he has the whole back to himself.

I have a Ford Explorer XLT. I think XLT means third row seating. It's big enough for a few kids and a Newfie.

I love it because I have TWO, yes TWO payments left!!!! :alc: That and it's very roomy, and has a/c even in the third row and a sunroof Maggie can stick her head out.

I have a 2000 Volvo V70 (midsize wagon) with almost 250,000 miles on it. I LOVE IT and plan on purchasing another.

Toyota Sienna. I put the third row seats down in the floor the day I brought it home and they haven't been up since. Room in the back for all three to ride, as long as they don't have a lot of "stuff" with them.

We stuff a newf and a golden into the back of an Elantra and a Prius...I am no help. I am curious though, my next vehicle will be larger so 1) I can get another dog and 2) I can pull Jake's trailer.

We have an Acura SUV with the seats folded down in back. Fits two Newfs very comfortably. Fits one Saint Bernard very comfortably. A little stuffed with all three dogs at the same time, but they do fit.

I have a trailblazer and duncan has the way back but the back seats fold flat and then he has MORE than enough room!

We had a 2003 Ford Escape. It fit our newf Puppy in there alright--but nothing else could be put in the back while he was in the car (lest he chew on it). So we bought a Honda Odyssey so he'd have all kinds of extra space in the back (sometimes in a crate, sometimes not). Well, he's decided that he doesn't want to be in the back of it--but in the floor space between the front row of seat and the second row (at the childrens' feet).

I drive a 15-year old Mercedes E320 wagon, and love it. Plenty of room for a couple of newfs, and with the seats folded down, your luggage too. Sans newfs, I can seat seven.

Well my vehicle might be a bit overkill but we drive a 15 pass. Dodge Van. It fits all 9 in the family plus the two doggies (with room for at least one more furry kid).

Ford E150 8 pass van. We leave one quad seat in the back. And take the bench out. We use the bench mounts to attach the dog harnesses to. Got it used for a song when gas was at 4$.

I drive a Saturn Vue- The seats fold down flat in the back and My Newf and Golden fit just fine back there- but my luggage goes up front. It's a little tighter if I have a passenger and the dogs- because luggage must go in the back with the dogs. They fit- but they don't like it...cramps their "style"...LOL
