Tragic Fire in Ct

Prayers and thoughts sent to the DeReus family. My Gunny is a Kloofbear.
Brian is definitely a hero. Why does these tragedies happen to the best?
4 newfoundlands were lost so indeed the familly is in shock. One was their Russian import, 2 were 1 year olds and an 8 week old pup.
prayers also for Stitch.

wow this is a very sad story my thoughts and prayers are with you all, I hope everyone makes a full recovery.

Between this and Shel's Rupert I am shocked and so very sad. I have always coveted the Kloofbears from afar. Awful. Simply awful.

I am glad to hear there is some good news. What a sadness. I think it is a testament to the closeness of the Newfoundland community, as well as the kindness of people that I have seen some of this information cross posted in so many places. Our love goes out to all of those involved.

I want to thank everyone again for their support and prayers for the Kloofbear family..Evelyn would like to extend her gratitude to all of you that have sent prayers and healing thoughts her way..Brian is recovering nicely and will have surgery on Monday for skin grafting..Little Stitch came back to Crossfields yesterday and is doing well..She has a bit of a lingering cough and a small burn to her chest..She is happy to be back with her siblings.. Please continue to keep her in your prayers and I hope toast pictures once she is home with us
