Finally!
OK!! We are here!! what a perfect day for a drive! We hit the road by 8.30 and met Marie-France from S.O.S. Terre-Neuve Quebec rescue at exit 25 on the Northway about 12.30. We sat at a picnic table outside of a Mobil station and had sandwiches, traded stories, took photos and best of all became celebrities to anyone who stopped for gas or a sandwich!
I can only say that Theo is Majestic - that's the only way I can describe him. So loving, sweet, caring, absolutely terrific. From Montreal to exit 25 he stood all the way. From exit 25 to Morristown NJ he sat and mostly laid down viewing the countryside and trip. No crying, but lots of panting! We stopped 3 times on the way home 2 times for humans and walkies for Theo, the last time we stopped in Oakland, NJ to get a new collar!
I know I'm preaching to the choir here but every time we stopped we became instant celebrities, we were basking in Theo's majesty! We even had our picture taken with a family from Japan!
We made it home, introduced Kodiak, took a walk as a new pack and now everyone is settling down... We figure that Theo feels at home now that he did a nice poop in the yard! YES! He voted for US!:dance01:
This is the link to picasa for photos because they seem to be too big for this site. Until I learn how to make them smaller this will have to do, sorry about that!

BIG thanks to Kim.B from S.O.S. many hugs as well! Thanks to Marie-France for escorting Theo across the border and to Theo's family for trusting us enough to give us Theo.
Thank you ALL !! We now begin our journey - we are honored to be part of this club!
