Thank You ALL, for your kind words. I do appreciate them. Lu is very special to me, and took me places I would have NEVER went without her lead. She was the Newf that I had complete confidence in. Her water skills were something to behold. Her decision making assured me that if I, or anyone else was ever in trouble in the water, she would give her life trying to help. Her powerful swimming and endurance are an inspiration to me.

This has been a difficult few days, and she is dearly missed already.

Til we meet again...

Oh Susan! I'm so sorry that sweet Lu has crossed the bridge. She was (and will always be) and inspiration to me. She was full of so much life and energy.
She is a beautiful girl. I'm sorry form your loss.

Just seeing this......Susan, Robin and I are so very, very sorry. She truly was amazing......I can remember watching her in the water and telling Robin, "That is what I want my newf to be like!!" She was an inspiration to us!!

She would NEVER stop going out after the bumper...... : ) Awesome dog!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Lu was quite an inspiration. There will be angels with tired arms and big grins when Iluminata hits the beaches on the other side. Go get 'em Lu!!!!

Susan I really don't have words. Wish I could give you a giant hug. Lu was amazing even in the short time that I knew her and I'm still smiling over the boat rides she went on these past few summers. Rest well Lu and make sure you show everyone at the bridge how to be a true water newf!
