Well, I know they aren't the best photos, but I was overdue in posting some pictures of Skookie. He is 9-and-a-half months old; three weeks ago he weighed 112 lbs. I know he looks all un-scruffied now, but I guess I miss the long hair on the ears!

When we first got him at 9+weeks, if he put his head down he could walk underneath the standing St. Bernards. Now he is taller than they are, though they still outweigh him-- they weigh 135 lbs or so.

Fantastic! How old are they when you should "remove" the puppy fur from the ears? Lola has gorgeous shiny black fur since she has lost her puppy fur...everywhere except her ears. Is it time to trim those up? Her ears are fuzzy and with a brown or red tinge.
