No help here either, I think you are on the wrong forum for that. 3 Newfs, 2 house cats, 2 + barn cats, and 3 horses.

Yes, yes, yes. We visited with our breeder while down south for the holidays. She has a new litter of 7 week old puppies! So cute!! I remember visiting for the first time when Cimorene and her siblings were 6 weeks old....awwww. Our children wanted to bring all of the puppies home with us. It was really cute since they didn't get to see Cimorene until we went to pick her up at 11 weeks...already quite a bit bigger!

sorry I cant help you there.

I remember Malc saying after getting Jessie no more dogs then Merlin and his littermates were born .
Threatened with forcible house ejection if I couldn't keep a pup from the litter.

Malc-- we dont want any more dogs three is definetly enough.

2 years later and lots of hints and we resue Beau, he doesn't say no more dogs now just gives me the look when I see a rescue or dog that catch's my eye.

So we are sticking to four dogs for the moment only!!!

Now I'm sure if Norm was close by he could be persuaded to change his mind

I'm no help. We had to move to the country when we hit 5 dogs 35 years ago. Bad idea, they just kept expanding. People dropped them off, we found them abandoned, they found us- my husband says there's a sign in the sky that only dogs can see, points down and says "Sucker Tucker". When we hit 21 we knew we had to stop, we couldn't look after any more. As we get older that gets harder so we are TRYING not to add when we lose one- except for Kody, then I had to get Thunder. Now we are at 12. So as far as I can tell the only cure is age. It took us 35 years so just have patience.
