This has been an awful year for my family In January and April I lost both my brothers to heart attacks, my husband has been very ill and now My only sister just found out she has uterine cancer, she is having surgery on Tuesday, it is a large and fast growng cancer, hopefully it did not spread to the lymph nodes.
So if you would please send some NN prayers over this way I am sure they will help.

She has them from me.

I had uterine cancer. Usually uterine cancer is very slow growing taking a decade until a lady knows she has it. The type I had is probably something similar to your sister's. Mine was very aggressive and fast growing. My cancer doctor called it 'mean'. I was lucky it was caught early. It was stage 1B and it a barely invaded the muscle layer of the uterus. When I had my surgery it was a complete hysterectomy and 42 lymph nodes. All the lymph nodes were clear and I didn't have to have any further treatment - chemo or radiation.

My doctor did say it could come back anytime in my life most likely year 2-3. He said if it did come back they type of cancer it was they could do nothing for it. I am happy to say that this Sunday 7/21 is my FOUR year anniversary.

Tell you sister I'm praying for her. I hope she has as good as results as I did. Please keep us posted on her surgery, results of the tests and other things.

Good News they got the cancer, it did not spread into her Lymph nodes, but they took another biopsy and she is waiting to hear about that she can't remember why they took another one and where they took it from.
Thank you all for your NN prayers

Great news. Uterine cancer, if gotten early, is easy to get it all. Note: Even if not in the lymph nodes it can still come back. I have a 105 chance of it returning anytime in my life. Most likely year 2-3. I just celebrated year 4!
