Post TPLO Harness

I purchased the Ruff Wear Assist & Lift Harness but it turns out it is pretty useless as it only helps lift the front end.

I'm wondering if anyone has found a type of harness that the dog can wear comfortably all of the time (24/7) that he doesn't have to take off to go to the bathroom & that has handles for me to grab to help him walk when necessary & to prevent him from going after squirrels.

It's hard to tell from all of the pictures so any input or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for everything guys! :)

Sorry - no ideas here. We just used the sling and leash - mind you, we don't have many squirrels...just magpies!!

I actually modified a canvas shopping bag for both of my previous "orthodog" experiences. (TPLO on my newf/lab & disc hemilaminectomy on my corgi) It was essentially a sling, made by cutting down the "narrow" sides" of a shopping bag. I found it more manageable than a towel. But, obviously it isn't something you could leave on, sorry.

I made a device from two inexpensive leashes that would just go around each thigh and up onto his back over his hips so that I could assist him (had both done, two weeks apart). I padded the crotch area with fabric. that way because it was around his legs, he could still urinate etc. with it on.
