:groovy::groovy::groovy: Thanks to everyone who shared their feedback about preferred transportation ...I am happy to say I traded in my 2008 Mercury Mountaineer today..And drove home with a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Mini-Van!:dance01: Of course I had to get "Inferno Red"(what else would I buy with a dog named "Scarlet") Many of you mentioned the "Stow and Go" feature, so I chose that and think it will be the most versatile.. We will be traveling to North Carolina in March for a few shows and I think 3 Newfs, 3 adults and a few pieces of luggage should fit nicely.. If you see us on the road, please honk and say Hi!!

Congratulations...but...where are the pictures? Of course the Newfs need to be IN the new Van when you take those pics! :)

After we adopted Venus, we traded in 2001 Dodge Ram pickup for 2006 Dodge Minivan with stow & Go seats. Venus likes it as she can just walk in. We leave back bench up and one middle seat. She has lots of room and sometimes lays on rear brench. We used a rubber mat for pickup truck bed, it is 1/2 inch thick (saved from pickup) cut it to cover floor when seats are stowed. Dogs get good traction on mat and it covers rug.

You mentioned 3 Newfs- can you fit 3 crates in it? We are looking for a new van - hadn't looked at this one yet as I didn't think it would be big enough. Would LOVE to look at this if it is....

This is the best I can do for the moment...will try to get a better one and include all of the Newf stickers! I am making "fake" crates out of cardboard to test out the inside space. I do think we can fit 2 x 42 in crates and maybe a little smaller one for the third, but I want to test it out first before I order any.

Oh Scarlet, you look fabulous in your new 'arrest-me red' minivan. The Moms will have to start thinking of a red theme name for your future sibling...maybe a boy named Carmine?

I was looking at Grand Caravans before my accident. I had one for two years as a company car. I wanted to hate it because I'm the german sports sedan type. But I loved it. I have a lead foot but I was invisible to radar in that car. I could get an amazing amount of stuff in and out easily and not once did I get pulled over for speeding.

Happy motoring!

I think you can fit two 24" wide, tall crates in the back and one larger in the side. We have two 42" crates in ours...one in the back...one on the side.
