One Year Ago...

So sad! I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl. She truly was gorgeous and so sweet...I don't think we ever get over the pain of loosing our loves...we just learn to deal with it. I made our Dexter a cross for his grave last weekend and cry everytime I walk by it...they truly are our hearts!

It does not get easier, especially with the special ones, but eventually you do manage to adjust. I don't ever see a pawprint in mud that I don't have a moment with my wonderful Lab, Magic, who passed suddenly in 1982. Every time I come to Ursa's spot in the yard I think of her, and the same with Echo's corner of the kitchen. The memories are fond, and the loss is still felt.
