Newf Owner Nickname?

In the time that I have owned a Newf, it has occurred to me that we have numerous nicknames for our Newfoundland dogs. Newfs, Newfies, Goofus McNewfus, Princess, the list goes on and on.

But there does not appear a nickname for those of us humans that own Newfoundland dogs. What should it be, if anything? Newfoundlanders? Humans? Alphas? Fishermen?

Happens with kids too. Ongoing joke at my grandparents house, they greet my niece and sister with "Hi Joei, oh, and Joei's Mom".

How very true this is!!! I remember the names of all the dogs we meet, the dogs in classes, the dogs in parades, dogs in stores... the people's names.... not a clue those are gone forever! :roflmao:
