Today I lost my constant shadow. My heart has lost another piece. He was 11 1/2 years old. He was my first newf and what a grand example he was. He was patient, loyal, kind and oh so loving.... He was happiest when he was with his family. He will be re-united with his brother Titus at the Bridge tonight....Godspeed my sweet boy.

No...I am soo soo sorry for your loss! There have been so many that have made the journey to the bridge lately.

I am very sorry for the loss of your Louie Bear. It is such a horrible loss even at 11 1/2, never long enough.

Ugh, this just sucks, no other way to put it. They come and touch our lives and no matter how long they are with us it is never easy. People ask how can one own so many dogs and go through the loss time after time. I hate to be sad, I hate to morn, but it is human nature and I say I would rather go through a couple days, weeks, or months of morning and sadness then to never have had them in my life to enjoy their company for years.
