With a very heavy heart I wanted to let you know that we helped Maddi cross the bridge, it has been a terrible week. She was only 13 months old. She was diagnosed with pneumonia on Wednesday then on Thursday diagnosed with megaesophagus and myasthenia gravis. By this morning her lungs had given out from the stomach acids that were in there. I will miss my grey lil Maddi girl, she was sweetness personafied! Rest well sweet baby.

Here is a picture of Maddi at 4 months old, she was a Therapy Dog at the Dana Farber Cancer Institue Kids Day.

Here is a picture on her first day of Puppy Obedience.

I am so sorry to hear she has passed. I was hoping for much better news, but am thankful she is at peace now. My thoughts are with you and your family during this seriously difficult time.

That is very very sad, but there must be a special place at the bridge for all the little ones and she will wait for you.

My heart breaks for poor Maddi. She takes your love with her to the bridge. I will keep you in my prayers, Lori. I know you are about to face your own challenges tomorrow. Your faith will see you through.:hugs:

I am so sorry. It is heartbreaking to lose one at any time. I can't imagine how difficult it is to have to deal with this now with everything else you are facing this week.
Maddi is healthy and whole now thanks to your most difficult and generous decision.
She feels your love and is watching over you.
Godspeed Maddi and God bless you.

Lori , I am so very sorry for your loss of sweet Maddi...it is never easy to loose one of our loved ones, but especially for you whilst you are fighting your own battle. I love that picture of Maddi on her first day...I have had that picture on my screen saver since you put it on NN. Our Angels will take care of your sweet little one. Please take care of yourself.....Praying for your health and sending positive thoughts :hugs: :hugs: Ronnie

Bless her heart. That picture of her in her backpack and hairbows is my favorite picture ever posted on here.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. Please take comfort knowing she is happy and healthy at the Bridge, and you will see her again someday.

You're in my prayers.
