You guys are making me all verklemmt! Heart you all! Hopefully, I should be getting the results of the MRI today. Hopefully. My doc has proven to be a bit of a Space Ranger though, so who knows  (once I get the results, I'm going to try to have my care transferred to a doc at UIC. He's supposed to be the best in the state and has much more experience with the rarer, more aggressive forms of ThyCa...)

Kristen-
I'll be praying for you. New to NN but your Avitar pic and posts always make me smile. It's odd how quickly you feel as though you know someone though a forum. CA touches every family in some way but I Hate to see it in mothers of young children. From all of our mouth's to God's ears.

Hi Kirsten,
I just saw this now. I am so sorry, but praying for you for all I'm worth. If courage works, you sure have what you need. Thinking of you and all your loved ones......

Prayers for you. Hoping your new doc has some new thoughts on how to get you cancer-free. Hang in there!

Unfortunately, all of my tests have had to be postponed due to the loss of my health insurance, which is AWESOME btw  I haven't had it for the past couple of months, but I will have some come August 1st, so after it goes into effect, I'll have a battery of tests performed, most of which are pretty difficult to explain, but basically I'll be forced into going hypo, getting checked for thyroglobulin antibodies, having a thyroglobulin test after I've been hypo for long enough and getting a radioactive iodine whole body scan to seek out rogue cells.

Looking forward to getting back to it and knowing more! And thanks for thinking of me guys! It's been a tough 11 months, and it just keeps getting tougher :hugs: to you all!
