I hope he is found.....the choker/check collar on is scary, as stated in the link, :( so many stories of dogs hung up/caught up in those and choked to death. great training aid lousy permanent collar.
Prayers from here to be found safe, Ronnie

My gosh so many lately are getting lost. I just received 2 e-mails in the last 2 days about dogs lost in our city, one fortunately has been reunited with it's owner. Hope the same happens for Bear.

UPDATE!!! Bear has been found! I received an email from Rosie this morning:

Yeah! He was a block over and a block south!! I just wonder if someone had him for a week, then dropped him off! I don't know, but I am so happy!!

Rosie passes along her appreciation for all those who have been sending their thoughts and prayers for his safe return!

:allg069::allg069::allg069: So glad he's home. I just read an article on how dog-napping is becoming more common in this nasty economy...scary stuff. (((HUGS))) to Bear and his people!

Wonderful to hear. One of ours has been missing for nearly a month now. She was a fence climber and took off after a neighbors free-range chicken and we have not seen her since. I believe someone has her. I believe I know who it is. There's a guy closeby, but not a close neighbor, who is way too interested in our dogs and knows waayyy too much about us and our comings and goings. We are rural and have neighboring properties, but no real close neighbors, so he's half a mile away or so. He loves the whites, so he might have her hidden. I know I can't just demand to be on someone's property or to search it without lost cause. We've already stopped and asked if he's seen her.
