My big baby is getting neutered today. I barely slept last night, I was so nervous. He snuck a drink out of my parents pond this morning (grrr) so hopefully that doesn't mess us up too much.

I'm sure he'll be fine. Volare didn't even know anything was missing (& he'd had 'em for 8 yrs.). Of course it's easy for me to say...

Thanks for the good thoughts. Charlie is 3 ... I read the research and decided to wait until he was 2 1/2 - 3. It has been busy with moving and stuff, so we ended closer to 3

Hi Jen! Thoughts and prayers going out for your boy today! He will be OK... but I always worry too whenever they go in for a procedure. No matter what it is. Funny story for you... when I went to pick up Gabe after his altering they told me..."He'll be very groggy, let him sleep for a few days...keep him calm". Right as she finished the last word the door from the back busted open and out came Gabe...crazed...eyes bugging out...wagging his tail...bucking around like a wild bronco. Yeah right...he'll be groggy... Needless to say...he didn't even know anything happened. ;-)

I just got word from the vet, Charlie's neuter is done, apparently is was a bit "difficult" compared to what they were expecting, and he is waking up from anaesthetic, apparently he woke up much faster than expected ... I will find our more when I go pick him up in about 5 hours (sometime before dinner).
