Well, I have been gone quite a long time and life has taken a few turns. After 25 years of marriage I am divorcing my wife. Life has been really crazy and one of the worst things I can imagine has happened. I gave Indy back to our breeder. It was the best thing for him.
I was the only one taking care of him for the most part - others in the house did some but I have a new job and I am gone at least 12 hours a day. He is really a good newfie and it broke our hearts to do it, but we just couldn't provide the care for him that he deserved anymore.
So with a sad heart we all had to say goodbye to him and we know that he will be very well cared for and for that we are thankful.
So I dont think you will see me around much more. There are many other things I need to attend to. Our finances are a mess - my wife handled them until 4-5 weeks ago. I removed her from the account.
2 weeks ago it all came crashing down. The car was repoed - 3pmts down, we were 3 pmts down on the second mortgage, 2200.00 behind on the gas bill that hadnt been paid since lat november, 1100 behind on the electric, and everything was taken or shut off the same week except the electric. I was able to keep that on.
Thankfully I started a new job and that has been going well but I have been soooooo broke paying these bills its not funny. I am living on about 40-60.00 a week. The gas is still off, until another 2-4 weeks whe I can get it caught up and I am selling my truck to do it. Cant cook, shower etc.
I have tried to negoitate a settlement with her but it is not going anywhere so I am filing next week without an attorney. Cant afford one.
So there you have it - thank you all for your friendship and support these past couple of years. You really are a great bunch of people.
