Herkules of Black Devils 07.04.2000 - 25.09.2014
Today our beloved Herkules made his way to the rainbowbridge to join his pack and be their boss again.
He was my very first newf and showed me the love for this breed. He was the most arrogant newf I've ever meet. He decided allways for himself what was right or wrong. He refused to listen any command if he thought they have not been justified. He was the king of the escapees, no fence was high enough for Mr. Herkules, no door could be closed enough. Once he broke through a 20 cm thick full wooden housedoor. Herkules was the boss of our big pack. He and Xena where the rules. They raised all puppies I brought home. Thank you Herkules for all your love and strength you gave me. For all the hours I cried into your beautiful black fur. We will allways love you. You took a huge part of our heart today with you. Please kiss all our fur babies up there and please wait for us until the day we meet again.

Sorry to read of your loss. But I am happy to see a very old age. Sounds like being the most arrogant Newf is just the trait that made him live to be over 14. RIP sweet guy!

Bea, I'm so sorry that another member of you pack has left. That's a lot to bear, especially when Herkules was clearly the leader. Like Leonard, I'm impressed that your Newfs have lived such long lives. Kudos to you, even at this difficult time.
