Hamish: 7/14/02-11/30/11

Hamish died Wednesday morning at the age of 9 of a sudden, completely unexpected heart failure. No prior signs whatsoever of anything wrong. It feels completely surreal to be posting here, he was healthy and rambunctious to the last. This is completely devastating--my life pretty much revolved around this dog, and my happiest times were those countless hours spent exploring the woods near my house. I know that several of you here enjoyed seeing the photos of him and his buddies, and I wanted to let you all know.
