Question re Friday meet and greet swim play date. I don't want to look like the mean old parent at the party who won't let their kid get dirty.. :darn:

but for those of you going to the swim date.. given that there is a whole lot of brushing etc going on ahead of time.. how are you going to get your Newf dry and clean after?? I am staying at the hotel and don't want to have a sand pile in the room?? :idea:

We are staying at the hotel also, and are coming equipped with blow dryer, generator and grooming accessories :crazy::crazy:
We will most likely do an outdoor "zoom groom", after the swim..Not to worry:groovy:

We too are coming equipped with blow dryer, generator, and brushes, etc. I'll make sure there will be spare gas in the generator and dryer time for Murphy!

We leave Thursday - but the boys are clean, dry, and ready to roll now. Though Pooka keeps "misplacing" his passport...

Does just a bath and a blow dry count?! I have not yet taken my scissors to Sully - its a mix of I still think he looks fine au naturel, and haven't had time to fully study the proper way to trim him yet. I thought of giving him my first trim after his blow dry today - but I figured he'd rather look scruffy than embarrassed by his mom's bad cut job at newfstock lol. I also just adore all of his brown puppy floof I don't want to part with it yet. Especially all the crimpys on his ears.

Heck yeah don't trim it yet! I'm not trimming my pups' ears or feet beforehand, so I can donate some money to Newf Friends for that service! (Mary - Scarlet's Mom - is AWESOME at trimming ears!)

Maybe I will bring Matilda to have hers done too -- the vet shaved half of her ears when she had the lesions -- she looks totally ridiculous!

Oh she's well enough alright. Barking her head off as I type this.

She will see everyone at the Bon Fire. I won't have any dogs with me at the main event because I will need hands free to do the photo shoot and a million other things. :lol:

we should be there between 7 and 8 depending on how bad traffic is. sadly we will just miss dinner
