Well, your entitled to your opinion, but I see a pig standing still for someone to pat it, standing quietly while some mounts it, running just enough to 'loose' his rider and quietly walking away. These guys weigh easily 800lbs and would have no physical discomfort carrying a person. The pig looks frightened to me.
The 3 that you see are our female breeders; They are pets, have names and we love them dearly. We also have a male breeder who we feel the same way about.Welcome back, Angie!!
Do you raise the pigs for food or do you just keep 'em as "pets". I've heard they are quite smart and make good pets. We have considered getting a few for food...I just always have the worry that I would get attached and not be able to go through with it. Chickens are hard enough...a pig would probably be worse! But after tasting how great our chicken is, I can only imagine how awesome home grown pig would be!
OK, then I feel slightly insulted that you presume I would terrorize my pets for fun. Perhaps you know more about Pigs and their behavior than I'm aware of, but if you've never 'seen' a scared pig.... I can guarantee you, You'd remember the noise they make when they're truly 'scared'!Sorry... we are allowed to say what we feel... and JMHO.... wrong.... wrong..
