Here are a few pictures of Eloise's first water test. She didn't pass this time, but she did wonderfully and I was so very proud of her! Sorry if the pics are too big.

Waiting for the test to start in the rain...

Getting ready to start...

Time to meet the caller...

Alright Weezie!!! She'll pass soon enough! I'm sure of it! She's a natural in the water!

Dang Amy... You look so cold in that first picture that it made me shiver!

And Eloise is lookin' good! Looks like she's trimmed down a bit.

Yes, Sue, she'll be trying again Saturday, and maybe Sunday. I signed her up for both. Are you going?

I actually think I have my parents convinced to go with me on Saturday. Ana is going on vacation, and I haven't had to carry all the stuff and Eloise before, so I was telling my Mom this, and she said that she might like to go. When I told her she'd have to get up at 4am to get there on time, she said she'd have to think about it! lol But I think she's decided to go.

And Eloise thanks you for noticing her slimmer physique! lol She's down to 125, 10 more to go, but she's getting there.
I wish I was!! lol

Yep, I'll be there on Saturday. I'll have the Ways and Means and Raffle tables set up. Terry won't be coming though and I won't be bringing my dogs. We're really screwed without the motorhome! We can't take all our dogs and we can't let them home for that long a period of time so Terry has to stay home. And since I won't have Terry's help, I can't hardly man the tables and take care of my dogs. :(

I wish we could be there but we are leaving for a well deserved and needed vacation to the Outer Banks that day...Max and Marcus in tow! We will all be rooting for you and Eloise, Amy! I don't have internet at the house we are renting but I can pick-up Newf Net and email on my phone so post right away

Sue...that was the hardest part stewarding this past weekend...since we needed to leave our house at 5:45 am. We couldn't take both dogs both days (another story!) and it was tough.
Next year if the boys aren't entered...I will have Barry's brother come and stay for the weekend. I spent more time worrying about the dogs.

It's a shame that you won't get to bring the dogs. But I actually didn't bring Eloise to that event last year either, when I was stewarding. It's too hard to have her near the water if she's not allowed in!

See you Saturday!

That really does make it hard. Volunteers are always needed to work the events but those working the events have a difficult time if they want to bring their dogs.

It would be a real tease for Weezy as much as she loves the water!

We were able to get a pooch sitter for 2 of our guys at the Paws and Claws. But that event is different. We set the W&M's stuff up outside and in the shade where I can sit there with my dogs. I don't know what we're going to do for the Oct. Fest. Things are set up inside and I'm not going to let my dogs outside in my truck for a couple of hours. They'd be better off at home in that case.

We have a 19' Chinook we've gutted and are redoing dog friendly, but it will be a good while before that's anywhere near done. It's completely gutted right now. Nothing in it except for the bathroom. That's the only part that's staying. The rest is down to the bare metal on the inside. This will be nice when it's done. We won't be in that long motor home, (the old one was 27'long), but we'll have the room and conveniences we need for the dogs. I'll be glad when we have that done!
