hallucinations.
I put Tug in the car, went back in the house to get everything else that I needed for work.
I came out, locked the door, then turned to go out and thought:
"How the *BLEEP* did Tug get out of the car????
Wait a minute... Same size, same basic shape, different face...
That's a bear." 20 feet away...
How tired was I??? :whistling:

A Real live bear  I live in the woods, along a Fisheries protected stream. I get bears, coyotes, cougars, raccoons... It's to be expected. Once I lost a bird feeder and the next few days I was picking of bear scat FULL of seeds! This was before Tug & his fence, of course ;) They are DEFINATELY more afraid of you than you are of them. S/He was headed towards my neighbors, who already has claw marks on her gate from them climbing over, so I talked him/her (from a safe distance) out of it :D Just kept talking in a low, calm voice. S/he's hungry and only looking for food, not trouble.

Holy cow - oops, I mean BEAR!!!! Reminds me of the commercial for an eyeglass place, I think it's Sears Optical where the woman opens the patio door, telling her "kitty" to come in for bed and in walks a raccoon!

LOL.. I did not think Tug was that big.

When we used to live up in Potter Co. they were a regular occurance. If you made some loud racket they would usually go the other way.
