Yes. From time to time we will make a veggie/chicken soup. Then we just add a couple of tablespoons to her dinner. Just to mix it up a bit.

Murph always has a little something tasty mixed in. hamburger or stew or chicken and rice that Nana makes or cottage cheese .. occasionally a wiener chopped up.. We actually warm it up in the microwave... :goofy:

For a short while I cooked, everything. Meat, Veggies, Rice. Mixed, bagged, and froze meals for a week at a time. It was too much for me, and I'm not sure Boaz really benefited all that much.

Now we feed Taste of the Wild Salmon kibble, topped with a 1/3 can of TOTW moist/gravy and add in veggies. This routine is much more managable, and he is doing very well on it.

He's 8 1/2 months and 120 lbs. Not chubby at all. I think we may have a monster in the making though. I wonder how big he will get.

we do both. the morning meal is their kibble and the evening is a raw meal. our dogs love it!

Is dehydrating cooking? I dehydrate sweet potatoes for treats. I do make the occasional hard boiled egg as a treat as well as scrambled to put on his dry kibble to make Snuffles eat better. Sometimes I brown hamburger too as a addition to his dry kibble.

Not cook, but we feed RAW. So we do a lot of food preperation. Sometimes I Blanch (quick dip through boiling water) some of the vegetables, because they freeze better.
when I first got Annabelle she was not used to RAW and she was very thin. So I made a rice/oats/chicken/lupins and vegetable porridge (Cooked). She loves it and if she was unwell i would cook that for her

We cook Liver for Hagrid which after being diced is added to his Kibble, he
seems to be just fine with it.

I am going to try the tip of feeding raw Chicken Wings to help clean his teeth, this
was from another thread.

Great site this for useful information.

I give occasional raw meals along with feeding kibble. I do boil up bones for their meat and stock content and give it to our dogs especially liked by the picky eater
