It is with such a heavy heart that I let you know we lost our beautiful, special mischief maker today. Brittany and I are absolutely devastated. The last few weeks were wonderful with Daria. Perhaps that was her gift to us. We had such a wonderful time and made some new memories and it was wonderful seeing her so happy and full of life. She must have known her time was near and me being ever the optimist, thought she was going to live for many more years.

Devany, Peneople and Maia knew for the last couple days that something was up with Daria. Penelope especially kept running over to check on her and give her sweet puppy kisses. Maia and Devy clung to me and Brittany.

Today we whispered in Daria's ear to raise hell once she gets to Rainbow Bridge. Don't announce yourself quietly. Be the wild child everyone knows and loves.

Godspeed my love. You will remain forever in our heart and thoughts. Let us know you arrived safely, if you can.

Oh no Mary K.... She will have plenty of our Angels to greet her. I am sure there is a NewNet Group of Angels having great times and waiting for us. I am so sorry for your loss  :( Ronnie

Oh no! This is an especially tough one, since we all are so fond of Daria's adventures. It's like she made her own special indelible mark on everyone.

Please Daria. Look up my Hugo. You'll really like him. None of that "rest" in peace stuff. Raise all the hell you want and both of you rattle the cages of Paradise together. I can almost hear the bars clinking now.

Safe journey pretty one. We'll miss you.

Terribly sad to read this....
My deepest condolences - I have loved reading about her mischief and hilarious adventures - often relating them to my husband as well. I have been laughing about her shoving you out of the way to get in the car for her rides for a few days now.....our Tink shares many of the same attitudes.
So very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear this after you were just saying how active she still was. You were lucky to have so many fun years with her.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support. It is greatly appreciated. The full impact of this loss is really hitting me this morning:( I miss Daria terribly.

If there's an upside, my daughter greeted me this morning with a small smile on her face. She said Daria came back to her last night. She said she saw Daria just as she was getting ready to cross over on Rainbow Bridge. Her eyes were clear and bright, she looked healthy and happy and no longer in pain and she was riding a Harley:kgo_027: A puppy we lost 2 years ago was with her and Britt said she was big and had really bulked up. I'm happy Brittany got the closure she needed. I wonder if Daria would have time to vroom her hog my way so I can see for myself that she's ok.. In any case, I hope she's happy and whole wherever she is.

I am sorry to hear this news. Seems like all the memorable newfs on NN are passing away. I'll never forget the stories you told of her antics especially the post your titled DARIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Adam rallied his last couple of weeks so it made is passing really devastating but still gave many memories. I believe Daria came to your daughter to let her know all is well.

So sorry for your loss, however, it seems as though Daria's life is one to celebrate. Keep telling her mischievous stories and the great times you and your family had with her will never be forgotten.

Thank you again.

Jeannie, I fully agree with you. It's hard when they rally and then crash. But, I'm taking the new and wonderful memories with me.

I took a stroll down memory lane yesterday and pulled up some of my past posts about Daria. I laughed, I cried and laughed some more. Gosh I had forgotten some of the naughty stuff she had done:lol:. There were SO many ways she got herself into trouble:goofy:
