After trying over and over to get a place to take our big lovable dogs, We've struck gold. :allg069: The Get together will be in Estes Park Colorado, which is just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. This place is right on the Big Thompson River. Check it out: http://www.rusticrivercabins.com/index.html
We have reserved #7 and are sharing it with Debra and her crew (3FORME).
They will give us a break on the pet fee, just let him know you are one of the Newfie people. If we fill this up, we can always find other accomodations close by for you. There are camping places in the area as well. You don't have to stay all week. Come up for a few days, relax and enjoy the company.

That's a 30 hour drive with me and 4 dogs...one way. Yikes. Maybe I'll do what you did, Teri, and fly out! Someone want to share a cabin for a few days?

We're in northwest Nebraska so someone is bound to travel by us on the way. We have lots of room and love guests. ;)

That area is a lot of fun and scenic. I went to Rocky Ridge Music Center in 1973 and 1974 which is at the bottom of the trail going up Longs Peak. We hiked all over that area and performed in Estes Park.

It's a great place for dogs. They do chase the marmots.

My son (16 years of age) is interested in knowing if there are any teenage children attending? He's trying to organize a two night/three day backpacking trip and told me it would be ok to post this invitation. If anyone's interested in this, please pm me and we can find a way to see if the human kids might get along. The newfs almost never require such screening!:joker:

Sorry I can't come; live near Portland Oregon, too far away.

Campfire singalongs and ghost stories are fun! Chasm Lake is a great hike.
