Many thanks for the kind words re: my photos. Evidence that the blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while. And yes, I do look sporty in my waders. Note that I am holding a fly rod; in this instance I was preparing to go fishing, not assist Lewis in making sure all was well in the Big Thompson River. If that's the most embarrasing thing ever posted about me on the 'net, I'll be very happy!:icon_cool:

YES...you were getting ready to go fishing BUT...I had to use this photo sans Lewis because we didn't get a photo of you and Lewis IN the BTR. I was a tad bit leary to lean over that wooden rail up top to capture it. The story ws so cute that it NEEDED to be told.

Now with that said, there is absolutely NOTHING embarrasing about this photo Barry.:sunflower:

Steve, I've sent your request on to one of Santa's elves. Perhaps she can be persuaded to take on the challenge. ( psssst. Her name is Megan )

Bojie AND Rigsby SWEAR to me there will be no illness or injury for a very, very long time. We are always ready for a GTG.

We have finally moved to Colorado so sure hope we can come up for the excitement. My husband has been ill and everything we do now will depend on his health. Honest, we really want to be there!

OK, I sent for the Estes Park guide from the Convention and Visitors Bureau just before I cracked up my car. Now I am in a little bitty rental and don't know if I'll get the SUV back or not. Rats! No one hurt. Just the car. And the fire hydrant. And the tractor parked in the street. Waiting to hear from the insurance company. May not be going anywhere with dogs for awhile since they won't fit in the rental and this whole miserable thing is getting really expensive. Anyone want to come to Bayfield (1/2 hour from Durango)???
