I will wrap it up in another day...
for anyone who wants to give it a go it IS easy. Just make sure your subject is being lit from behind and not from the front or sides. Thats why sunsets make such great silhouettes!! The light is comming from the back only! If you don't use a flash you can't go wrong....(FYI, sunrises work equily well, but require waking up in time to see one ;) ). The metering on a camera will also play a part.. I'm not smart enough to explain how to change that on an automatic camera.. but perhaps someone can direct the crowd to an "exercise" on lighting. Or perhaps we need a new Exercise :) Pros?!

Here is one I took with just an automatic Sony Cybershot:

I took this photo about 3 years ago in the early morning of a Golden lying in the grass wet with dew. It looks great in B&W. I love the drop of drool off his tongue.

OK.... here we go!

Tonka, yours was the most eyecatching for me, but it showed a bit too much detail as a silhouette .. beautiful though!

Jeanie, the temple speaks to me of the past, .. strong, silent holding on to its secrets.

Jane, LOVE the glint of sunshine at the Memorial!

Pawsx12, The color in the 'treed' shot is wonderful!! One I kept going back to.

PrdMary, Silhouette AND fast action! I'm impressed! Great shot!

In the end I was left with EckyBays Dragon, Lolas Church Window and Ronnies 'Dog in the Doorway'...How to choose?!

Maybe its the SciFi Fantazy lover in me, but, EckyBay... you win! Well, you all "win" for just making these challenges so great! But Becky gets to choose the next Challenge!

Congratulations, these were all so much fun to look at, especially since I am so photographically challenged.
