Can they keep growing?

Last night Brian said to me "nes, is Harley getting TALLER???"

he's about 15 months old now and finally worm free and finally on food that agrees with him....

I know they 'bulk up' as they get to be about 3 years old.

but when do big dogs stop gaining height?

Bentley just turned 2 1/2 and he is atill growing

Benson kept getting taller until he was four years old. It just depends on the lines.

Gabriel had a little spurt and grew some more height when he was almost three. Like Sue said, it depends on the line. If he comes from slow maturers, he could grow for another 1 1/2 to 2 years. (or more)

well since he's a rescue I have no clue as to how long his line grows...

I wonder if Phoenix is growing still...

Back in November when we went to visits Karen (luvxl k9) she thought Snffles looked taller. He is still gaining weight, but no one including his vet thinks he is fat. He will be 5 on the 2nd.

well since he's a rescue I have no clue as to how long his line grows...

Mr. Pheney is definitely still growing! He's also gotten taller. He's FINALLY stopped shedding - we went through a pretty hairy spell there for awhile around Christmas/New Year's, I thought the poor guy was going to end up bald! He LOOKS skinny as a rail, but if you do the rib test he's just right - I do wish he'd bulk up a bit, but I know that will come with time and the eventual day when he doesn't spook over every new thing. So glad the nice weather is finally starting to come around so that we can start doing some leash and socialization work - which will be much easier now that my daughter is home from all of her Army Reserve training.

Jorge has just grown an inch in the last 3 months- he is almost 3yrs old

Riser will be 3yo in July and last month we noticed a growth spurt. His father didn't finish maturing until age 4 so he may be growing more for the next year.

Oh - he's not finished growing at only 15 months! It will be AT LEAST 18 - 20 months....

Bär is 21 months old & still growing. The other day I looked at some pics from christmas & from his 21 month birthday & I noticed how much bigger he is now. His weight has been pretty steady for a couple months at around 150 pounds.

ah it sounds just like us! no longer shedding. looks thin but feels just right... and getting taller!

I am not sure (haven't measured) but I think that Charlie has gotten taller in the past couple months (I noticed because it seems it is getting easier to sniff the countertop.

Sundance grew until he was almost 3 (not that we know his real age). The girl across the street kept asking if he was ever going to grow into his legs. Around the time he turned 3 he finally looked like all the parts fit.
