Ben

Haven't been around much. Ben had to have emergency surgery to remove 2 large cysts from his prostate making it so he couldn't go to the bathroom, and then he was diagnosed with lumbo sacral disease confirmed by 2 neurologists.

So here are some new pictures of Ben. He got a new doo, a puppy cut. He can't stand long enough for a blow dry, so this is good as I am getting him into the pool twice a day to build up his back end.

Also I had Sue (2paws) make Ben some new bibs. I think they are pretty awesome!

Ben looks great! Sorry to hear about the surgery and diagnosis. What are the next steps for Ben? Besides additional strengthening? Is prognosis good?

Unfortunately he will get progressively worse. Eventually he will become paralzyed in his back end and incontinent. But I am doing everything I can to prolong that as long as possible. Pool therapy, walks, chiropractic, pain meds. This boy is my soul and I will do everything in my power to keep him happy and moving.

Oh, Ben....I am so sorry to hear about your troubles and your prognosis. You are just as handsome as ever with your short 'do. Your bibs are awesome.

Your mama loves you tremendously and will do everything in her power to make you feel better....The girls send you drooly kisses. Gabriel says "hang tough, bro."
I am sending a giant hug for you and the mama....

Here's hoping you can beat this thing for a long time.
