Automatic dog wash

I'm leaning towards thinking it's ummmm......a bit cruel? Imagine the panic the dogs feel. And a Newf in there? They'd likely overheat!

Am I being ridiculous?

Jess...i thought the same thing. Poor dogs must be frightened in there all alone with water and soap coming at them. :bah:

I have seen versions of these before and unless the dog is very laid back not something I would ever consider for any of my dogs.

There is no way in H. E. double hockey sticks that I would put my dog in that machine. What if something went wrong?

Yes.. I agree..put the people who think it is so great in there for a few cycles.

The way is squirted the soap... it looks like it could easily get in the dog's eyes.

Unbelievable that people would subject their dogs to that!! How lazy can you be! Dogs must get terrified.

First off how terrifying!!!! Second...how would you know if the water temp or blow dry temp was right & not burning your pup? Can you imagine the mats on any long haired dog? What's next touchfree kid wash? UH no thanks.....

I would never put any of my dog's in that. I can't imagine a dog being comfortable in that. I know my Sassy & Merlin would freak!!! Roger just would'nt get in. It really looks cruel to me.

can I put an 11 year old in there??

Seriously, that is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. My lab was afraid of baths because my X accidentally sprayed her in the face with the shower head. That thing is downright abusive, and if you're that lazy when it comes to bathing your dog, maybe you shouldn't have one.

I bet a 150+ lb dog wouldn't get in there a 2nd time.

I wanted to build an automatic dog wash but the idea was NOTHING like that. Dog's head never went in anything or even got wet. (You had to wash the head yourself). I just wanted scrubbers to come along their sides and spray and wash from the neck to tail, then rinse. No dry. Save my back bending over to get legs and under tummy.

I can think of better uses for 30,000 dollars. Also, bathing is a bonding time. Would you put your child in this? I would think they feel panic and get scared.
