I'm devastated at the moment, I can barely see the screen through my tears. My beloved Heart Girl Ethel passed away on her own terms this afternoon, and I'm lost without my little girl.

She was the perfect working girl, who who'll do whatever she was asked to do. She loved the water, which was her favorite place to be, unless it was with daddy, she was a daddy's girl. goodbye my sweat girl. You fought a good fight, but rat bastard cancer won in the end, bye sweetie, I love you

Oh Ted! I"m so, so sorry. She was your best girl and it will be rough without her. These dogs are so remarkable. Each so special and talented in his or her own way that it seems like they are a separate species from all other dogs. More human than canine. It makes losing them even more painful. But I'm sure she is running and swimming and watching down on you.

Rest well Ethel May. If you're looking for a swimming partner extraordinaire, go find my Hugo. That was his favorite place to be, too.

My heart aches for you and the loss of your special girl. Run pain free at the bridge, beautiful Ethel. You will forever live in your dad's heart.

I am so sorry, Ted and Judy. What a bittersweet day with Tigger doing well at the show then this. Ethel was a really sweet girl. I am honored to have met her. Godspeed sweet girl.

You gave her a great and fulfilling life. Loved beyond measure and never to be forgotten.............

Oh Ted, I am so sorry:( I know what all your dogs mean to you. Your girl lived a great life with a great mommy and daddy. She left when she was ready and wanted to save you the heartache of deciding that for her....Rest In Peace Sweet Ethel...

I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet girl Ethel. She had a wonderful life with your family and loved you so much she gave you a gift and left on her own. I'm sure she was welcomed at the bridge by all of our furkids who have gone ahead. She will be watching over you all till you meet again...
