Does any of your newfs resting/lying like this, with his back legs stretched out completely backwards? Some people suggested me that this way of lying may be the sign of hyp displasia?? Does anyone heard something like this? Do I need to be worried or not?

Hi everyone, Ben is growing, he's 14 months old now, 135 lbs and 28,7 inches. Since it's very very hot here in Dalmatia (Croatia), he lost a lot of his undercoat, and he sleeps a lot during the day, but his time is early in the morning, when we go swimming in the sea, and late in the evening...

Can anyone tell me more about grey newfs, since they are not excepted by the FCI, and approved by the AKC? Did they breed with other colors, do they compete on dog shows, are they common among breeders in the USA? Also, I would appreciate if someone can post some pics of grey newfs, I didn't...
