  • Merry Christmas to you Ronnie and your family!:sunflower: Enjoying your nice summer weather? We're just enjoying typical Indiana ugly winter weather-ice one moment and then plain cold rain the next. No hope for a white Christmas this year...

All the best to you, your husband and all the furries in 2009!!
Merry Christmas to you too!!!! I just love the Christmas picture of Annabelle and Tessa. That's a great picture (with or without the Christmas decorations!)
It hasn't been too bad - as I'm now off until Jan 5th !
A very Merry Xmas to you guys too.
    Enjoy ! xxx

Not as yet but this is an ongoing problem which was diagnosed as seasonal allergies but its not seasonal. We have done the food elimaination tests and he is fed on raw... mostly lamb and beef.Maybe I was hoping thyroid was the answer but he is still pulling out chunks of hair in a cold December and I am thinking it is staff infection but am unwilling to do more rounds of antibiotics and prednisone . I was told by the dermatologist vet to give weekly baths but that will have to wait until spring.

    Thank you for the concern

Do you know Bev and Carole from Kietabear or Riverbear as they are in NSW
Thanks Ronnie for the compliments on my gang--They're my babies since I don't have any two legged ones! :) The website is still a work in progress--need to add so many of the gang from the past. Arrownewf on NN is my webmaster, btw, and does a great job. Visit any time! Maybe over the winter I'll try to get Wheatley busy with those updates!

And you poor soul--living with a Scorpio! LOL! Tell him happy belated b-day!
    Take care! dee
    Why thank you!!
No Paula didn't do it for me though I've seen some beautiful creations by her so far.
A friend of mine did it for me. he's a techie geeky sorta guy who loves to CREATE things.
The picture was taken while she was practicing her "sit/stay" and she lost focus and whirled around when one of the other dogs were running around the pond and happened to whirl by right above the retaining wall.
    Hi !
Thanks. Once again (2nd time this season) Storm and I went and hauled our horses out of the wind areas; then sat and watch the hillsides all around us burn. When it became difficult to breathe; we headed back for the beach with photos and irreplaceables in hand. Last year was much worse right here. I am just figuring out how to pick up and reply to mail. Newf net challenged; that is for certain.
Still unable to put an Avatar up (now that I know what an avatar is)!
Thank you for your kind concern; that was so thoughtful. Not really like newf-L is it?
Ahhh, but it was well worth your efforts! Notice I have yet to get an album posted...
I just wanted to let you know how horrified I was to read about your walk thru town incident and so glad your girl came out of it with just a few stitches...could've been so much worse...and I'm there with your mixed feelings about the owner of the attacker handing him over for euthanization...it's really unavoidable a smaller dog and less fiesty human might not have gotten away...hugs..
Abbey and Zeke send their love to Annabelle and Tessa. And, Get well soon Annabelle!
I can't believe the resemblance, either!
She looks more like him than his siblings ;)
    TTFN!
    Hi Ronnie-
I didnt' get a chance to respond to you about Noche's breath. We decided to change food and we have been giving her marrow bones. I also got some breath mints. The smelly breath is improving. Her teeth appear to be pretty clean. We will discuss getting them cleaned with the vet the next time we take her in. Noche was a rescue and I am not sure what the previous owners were feeding her. Her teeth are a lot whiter than they were when we first got her (April/08). The DH had the same concern as you brought up in the forum....He had a cat with breath issues and ended up being a liver problem.
