I can't believe it's getting so close...I just hope I don't end up with stuck kidney stones again! I'm coming regardless.

2 1/2 weeks till I set off on the marathon trip:groovy::groovy:
I'm getting soooo excited!!
I checked the map, I think it's about 2,500 miles each way. I also heard that 3 other Newf people are driving there from
Vancouver Island.

Bear Mountain lost the site they were going to use. It changes ownership and the new owners don't want the dogs there. I don't believe there was a contract yet to use the site.

I'm going to have to do a better job of tracking down people this year. Guess I'll have to wear my name tag this year. ;) Missed so many last year that I wanted to meet. You can usually find me hanging in the grooming area with the Newfs, or bathing Newfs, or sitting ringside, or under the tent ringside as bucket bitch...I'll be the one with the pink bucket. ;)

I'm going (Sun-Sat)! I won't have anyone with me though, probably not even a dog. Maybe I'll wear a NN-Newflizzie nametag or something or I'll never find any of you...so yell if you see me! :)

Bummer Angela... everyone I know seems to be going this year, even a bunch of first timers. I have to miss it this year. Planning on next year though and probably taking Nahkohe for Obedience. Will have to find someone to drive her out though. Have fun!

Yeah....everyone needs to wear their nametags! I'll be the tall woman with freckles and long red hair pulled through a baseball cap, bundled up in winter clothes and shivering.

Sheila: leave your flip flops at home & pack gloves instead! Or do you even have any?? :lol: I could bring an extra pair.
