Will be interesting to see if Westminster goes off as planned, considering the blizzard in New York. I'm sure many of the owner, dogs and Handlers arrived this weekend, but who knows what tomorrow brings.

You can find all the info you need about air times and the show here: http://westminsterkennelclub.org/

Starts at 8 Eastern/7 Central both Monday and Tuesday. Working Group is first up on Monday night.

Up FIRST? Darn it...I don't get off work until 8 and home until 8:30, or later.

I'll have to leave early...I think I feel a stomach virus coming on.

I was depending on the Toy Group or Terrier Group to go first. I wouldn't be as upset if I missed some of either of those groups.

Nancy is right. One of my customer's daughter is entered in Jr Handler. They are leaving tomorrow at 5 a.m. to see if they can get there. I hope so. This girl has worked so hard to get to Westminster again this year. BTW this weekend at the Hoosier show she got best Jr Handler out of 43 (I think) entries.

I have watched Westminster since 1989, when I got my first newfie. And it has never failed, the working group is always up first.

I am sorry Ardea, that you're not feeling well! :D ;)

Thank you Sue.

I'm sure it'll be something I'll have for lunch. Those fast food places can be treacherous!

Congrats to your customer's daughter! What a feat to beat out 43 other jr handlers! That's quite an accomplishment! Some of those kids are top notch.
I won a second place in my first jr handler class. I still have the rosette. I just couldn't believe I won it. I was thrilled!
I have stewarded at the jr handler classes, and the judges are usually VERY helpful, if you ask them.
I can't wait for the big show tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up on the Working Group.

Usually USA re-broadcasts the events the next afternoon around one or two if you miss it tonight./ I'll be missing it tonight for a pet first aide class. I'll be sure to catch it tomorrow!

I didn't make it in this morning since the trains were not running to the city. I felt bad for people that had to get their with their dogs. I will just have to watch it on TV.

i was supposed to go, too, with lynn. mine wasn't a train problem, but a plane problem. i was wondering how many entrants maybe didn't make it due to the airport closings on saturday and sunday, though.
