I have owned numerous Dyson's over the years. From the first one that came out to the highest-priced one, available. But hands-down, the best vacuum I have ever used is the Eureka Airspeed. Reasonably priced (a bargain compared to most Dyson's). If it only last's a couple years, at this price, I don't mind replacing. Also, I ended up buying two of them. One to keep upstairs and the other, downstairs.

Vacuum cleaners with brushes are always a pain, but if they work well I will put up with cutting the hair out of the rollers. Miele used here on the advice of Angela a few years ago.

Dyson Animal for 4 or 5 years, works good; when I get some time, I am installling a central vac system; ALOT of power, have previously installed NUTONE brand with good results.

Ok Charlie your on. I bought my Eureka and I will be on to tell y'all about it. The Dyson is too expensive. I got sucked into a Kirby once and I would rather buy a new one every couple of years rather than sticking 600 dollars into something I feel I have to use because of the cost. I will let you guys know! Thanks for the info.
