Been away for a while. I had my shoulder surgery right before Easter, it has been harder than I imagined. I have been doing the therapy and it is finally get easier to function. I went with my hubby and son on a trip that was interesting to say the least... We sold a car and bought an offshore boat in Phoenix and decided to drive and pick it up instead of it being shipped to us. 3 days of driving to get there, then we went to spend a week with the boat at Lake Havasu. The boat ended up having a broke fuel tank, so 2 days with a mechanic in the parking lot they took it back to get it repaired so we went to Las Vegas. Spent a week there and thought we could pick the boat up and bring it home but it wasn't ready yet. Then we took a few ours and jumped off the interstate and saw the Grand Canyon. Finally made it back home where the Cicadas are out in full force and the humidity is miserable but so glad to be back home. Now it is time to get back into the physical therapy but hopefully I won't have to do it much longer.
My brother-in-law's step-daughter who had the difficult delivery of her baby is doing good. Her incision is still open but hopefully they can get it closed soon and baby Addy is doing great too.
My mother-in-law who was having blood pressure issues is doing better now too. We took her to a cardiologist who changed her meds and the palpitations are gone when her blood pressure is at a good level.
So progress, while it is slow it is all good lol.
