sigh...
He spent the day at the vet. He was a total goofball and love bug to the staff. They think his antic are charming.
He is so fat. He looks like a pregnant elephant. He is not allowed water until tomorrow, and then in small amounts, like an ice cube at a time. No food at all till wednesday. He is peeing, but no poop yet.
I asked if they were going to xray again before I took him home and they said no, if he starts trying to vomit with out production, then he needs to go to the emergency room.
He is desperately thirsty, but no drinking allowed. I have a feeling I am in for a long night.
I had an absolutely horrible day. There was a fraudulent charge on my debit card-for $573 dollars- and I had a small flood in my basement, which is what I was dealing with when the dogs broke into the food storage. This totally put things in perspective though. I dont care about the money or the basement floor. I just wanted to bring my dog home.
Thank you for the prayers. He is home, not totally out of the woods yet. But he is home with mama.
